In Great Britain the supermarkets are bigger than supermarkets in Spain.
You can find everything: food, drinks, clothes, sport equipment, toys...
In Great buying online is easyer than in Spain
They are a lot of supermarkets brands, for example: Tesco (the most famous in Britain); Aldi; Farmfoods...



THE SUPERMARKETS IN SPAIN:
In Spain the supermarkets are smaller than supermarkets in Great Britain.
You can find food supermarkets like caprabo and other bigger supermarkets hipercor.
In Spain you can't buy online.
They are a lot of supermarkets brands, for example: Lidel; Dia%; Intermarche; Condis;Mercadona...

Healthcare

most of the time we feel, but sometimes we just don't feel very well.

some people have medical insurance but most people can't afford in and rely on the National Health Service. NHS sent in Britain.

One of the most common alternatives treatments is the use of Chinese herbs.

Computers

Computers are a very important part of our lives.

For many young people, playing computer games is their favourite way of spending spare time.

In Britain its very important of most areas- libraries, the police...



A computers can adjust the temperature inside, put on light ready for you to come back home...

Unit 7: Transport in London

For many people the journey by train,buses, taxis,cars, bikes or boat.
London Underground, usually called the Tube, was the first in the word when it opened in 1863.

People uses lots of other forms of transport in London. Some people use boats on the River Thames to go to work.

The car there is one transport isn't very good because they move very slowly.

The buses and taxis travel more quickly because they have got spacial lanes on the road.

Unit 6: Maritime History

In England no town is more than 170 kilometres from the sea.
Britain has very important history of ships and the sea.
The British Navy was the biggest navy the world.

In Liverpool there are a museum of maritime history. In there you can see a famous ships for example: The Cutty Sark At Greenwich in London- this ship was brougt tea from India to Britain.

The most fomous ship was probably the Titanic in theory it had to go from Liverpool to America. It was the disaster in maritime

Unit 5: Horror stories =O

People like to be scared. They love reading horror stories and watching horror movies.

The most famous horros stories were written by British writers.

The first was published by Mary Shelly in 1818 - FRANKENSTEIN.

Count Dracula was a vampire created in 1897 by the Irish writer Bram Stoker.

One film is: Dracula contra Frankensteins was made by the Spanish director Jesus Franco in 1870.

I think the not all the vampires are aggressive because I saw a movie called Twilight. It was a romantic movie. the secondary character called: Edward Cullen is a guy who had 17 years old many years.

In short this films is a 21st century movie

Unit 4: Police station

The most famous police station in Britain is New Scotland Yard in London, but there are police stations all over the country.

The policeman can arrest people in the street, but he also give information.

They are a new police station in Leswisham, an area in soud-east London. In there they are custody room, a machine scans figerprints, a laboratories...

Also the scientist are can examine and analyse material from the crime scene to find out exactly what happened.

Fingerprints are a good way of identifying people but DNA is more reliable.
